The cabin is located along a valley in the Sequoia National Forest (Sequoia National Monument)- Camp Nelson Ca, with gorgeous views of the forest and mountains from the porch. The living space has large windows which let in light and great views. Hiking or mountain bike along the local trails with out the crowds. Walk down to Nelson Meadow, the store or Nelson Tavern for a bite. Take a drive to the Trail of 100 Giants, Dome rock (rock climbing), Needles trail and the Tule and upper Kern Rivers.

By booking you are agreeing to all rules.
-Guest are responsible for cleaning dishes and will be charged if you do not.
- No more than six guests allowed.
- No more than 2 cars.
- You must pack your trash with you as this is a rural area and there is not trash service. There is a Camp Nelson Transfer Station/dump is a 5 minute drive above c
Camp Nelson and opens at 10 am most days. There is also a dump down the hill in Springville and Porterville.
- Please note that there are seasonal closures and sometimes closures due to inclement weather and forest fires that can inherently happen due to the nature of the location. If you book during fire season august to October we do not refund unless there are road closures and/or evacuation orders (these fall under Airbnb's extenuating circumstances).

The space
•The Outdoor Space (where you always want to be):
The porch encompasses the front of the cabin with amazing views of Camp Nelson and Slate Mountain and has multiple chairs and porch swing along with an outdoor gas heater. There is also a small bistro table and stools perfect for sitting and drinking coffee, wine, etc. The small deck to the side has a gas BBQ, more chairs and a table for outdoor dining which is a must if the weather permits! You can also enjoy your morning coffee or beverage of choice from the hot tub and take in the magnificent view. During the Fall the over 100 year old apple and pear trees are bearing fruit so feel free to pick some.

Parking and Driveway
There is parking next to the cabin for a maximum of 2 vehicles. The driveway is steep but drivable in NON-SNOW CONDITIONS ONLY. Chains are required during winter months in the mountains.
Please know that there may be wildlife such as bears and deer occasionally on the premises. No trash should be left outside.

Additional notes
The Cabin is located near Sequoia National Monument (not park). There are many local trails that have Giant Sequoias. Please note that during the winter season some trails may be closed.

Neighborhood overview
Checkout local attractions including: The Ponderosa Lodge, Nelson Tavern and Pierpont Bar and Grill- all locations provide food, drinks and a general store. There is also trailheads just a short drive, longer walk, or bike ride away. During the winter Quaking Aspen Meadow, a short drive away, is great for sledding if there is not snow at the cabin.
